Macro indicators
FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data) — free API key. Series tracked: DGS10, DGS2, UNRATE, CPIAUCSL, BAMLH0A0HYM2.
Stocks & indices
Alpha Vantage — free API key, capped at 25 requests/day. Quotes and company overviews for a curated universe: NVDA, MSFT, AAPL, AMZN, GOOGL, META, TSLA, JPM plus SPY, QQQ, DIA, IWM.
Because of that 25-request daily cap, quotes are cached for 24 hours and full company overviews for 7 days across the whole site — regardless of how many visitors load a page, this stays well under budget. It means prices here can lag real-time by up to a day.
